Record group 2003-60 documents the county organization and subsequent changes, including the establishment of cities, townships and villages. The record is comprised of volumes stored in manuscript boxes. Some volumes have excellent survey maps. All Michigan counties are represented. In addition, there is documentation on Isle Royale, Michigan and Manitou County, Michigan. This series dates pre-statehood, with the earliest date (1796) documenting Wayne County, Michigan. Arranged alphabetically by county.
